Of their peculiar light
I keep one ray
To clarify the sight
To seek them by
How wondrous and ravishing to be able to keep the light from some sweet afternoon or the dawn of a new day? Indeed but I also think of this poem as being about the importance of perspective, as if certain things, or people, or days, or whatever ‘their’ and ‘them’ may be beyond the plural, can only be sought let alone found once one’s sight is clarified.
